Overview We’re seeking a results-driven Operations Manager with strong project management experience to oversee large-scale AI data annotation projects. This role ensures that all deliverables — across text, audio, and video datasets — are completed on time, at high accuracy, and aligned with client quality standards. The ideal candidate thrives on process optimization, accuracy improvement, and team development. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple annotation projects, ensuring throughput, timeliness, and target accuracy (≥90%) and consistency (≥95%). Lead and coordinate daily operations through effective project planning, task delegation, and performance tracking. Develop, implement, and monitor quality and accuracy improvement initiatives, applying data-driven and step-by-step approaches to identify gaps, execute solutions, and measure impact. Conduct coaching and retraining sessions for Team Leads, QA, and Annotators to ensure consistent performance and understanding of quality metrics. Establish project workflows, feedback loops, and calibration mechanisms to standardize quality. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using project management methodologies, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients, providing actionable updates and root cause analyses. Track key operational metrics—accuracy, rejection rate, productivity—and ensure alignment with client KPIs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Data Science, Psychology, Linguistics, or related field. 3–5 years of experience managing data-heavy, KPI-driven projects (AI annotation, BPO, or related operations). Proven ability to lead teams through project life cycles—from planning and training to execution and post-review. Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to break down complex goals into clear, measurable steps. Experience in coaching and performance management with focus on accuracy improvement and operational excellence. Proficient in project management tools (Airtable, Jira, Smartsheet, or Google Sheets). Preferred: Familiarity with AI data operations, machine learning, or multimodal data (text/audio/video). Six Sigma Green Belt or Kaizen certification is an advantage.
