Job Description
The Compliance Specialist plays a vital role in driving and maintaining a culture of operational excellence and safety across our division. The position works closely with branch leadership and field teams to monitor safety compliance, ensure all regulatory and company policies are met, and promote safe working environments through proactive communication, tracking, and coaching. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor completion and accuracy of all safety trainings for branch staff. - Maintain detailed training records; follow up on overdue items with branch management. - Distribute daily safety messages to reinforce risk prevention and best practices. - Support branches during internal audits, reviews, and compliance checks. - Oversee GoGPS dashboards daily, identifying unsafe driving behaviors and violations. - Track coaching and corrective actions for high-risk drivers; provide regular trend reports. - Ensure GPS units are active and functioning; coordinate issue resolution with operations and maintenance. - Reconcile GPS assignment data to ensure 100% vehicle and personnel compliance. - Maintain logs and produce weekly/monthly compliance summaries for leadership. - Identify and recommend improvements in compliance and safety processes. - Assist with new safety program rollouts and process enhancements. Core Skills and Qualifications: - Proactive in ensuring safety and compliance across teams. - Effective communicator; able to deliver concise updates and follow up with managers. - Highly organized in maintaining detailed logs and records. - Analytical; able to identify trends, gaps, and drive process improvements. - Familiar with fleet GPS tracking systems such as GoGPS or similar. - Strong attention to detail and accountability in ensuring timely resolutions and task completion.
