Total Staff Needed: 1 Department: Admin Target Start Date: Monday, February 3, 2025 Workplace: On-site Schedule: Morning Type of Employment: Full time (8hrs/day 5x/week) Responsibilities: 1. Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. 2. Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to mitigate risks and promote safe work practices. 3. Conduct meetings and safety orientation with staff or workers. 4. Conduct safety orientations for new hires. 5. Collaborate with department heads and employees to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions as needed. 6. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for preventive measures. 7. Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, including inspections, training sessions, and incident reports. 8. Participate in emergency response planning and drills to prepare employees for potential emergencies. 9. Serve as a point of contact for safety-related inquiries and provide guidance and support to employees. Qualifications: 1. At least 1-2 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in an office or BPO setting. 2. Certification as a Safety Officer (e.g., BOSH, COSH from DOLE) is required. 3. Strong knowledge of local safety and health regulations (DOLE, OSH Standards). 4. Excellent communication and presentation skills. 5. Ability to conduct safety trainings and develop safety programs. 6. Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety. 7. Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 8. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently. 9. Strong leadership and teamwork skills. 10.
